Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a UX Designer who is very strong conceptually and who can easily and confidently work together with other UX Designers on projects. Human-centered design and design thinking should come as natural as breathing to you. You have previously demonstrated success working together with domain experts, product owners, and developers, and you are interested in continuing this type of collaborative work.

You are driven by results and are energized by looking for the best solution for the most important problems and challenges.

What will you do?

Play an integral role in the Product Insights team, working together with enthusiastic educationalists and product specialists to support product development teams in the design phase (problem discovery, problem definition, design testing, etc.) and during the development phase.
Conduct user research, map out customer journeys, create wireframes/prototypes/designs and validate/test these with our user base so we can be sure that we are working on the best problems and solutions. You have an eye for the best possible user experience.
Work closely together with visual designers, product designers, developers, educationalists, product managers, and marketers to collaborate and find the best solutions.
Work together with the team to make the user experience measurable and measure it.
Continue work together with UX Designer colleagues to build our design system and share your knowledge and experience within our Design Guild.
Come up with elegant, efficient solutions and challenge your colleagues to go for ambitious goals—always aiming for excellence.

Who are you?

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
5+ years experience in a similar role
You have strong conceptual skills.
You’re up to date on the newest developments in your field and apply them seamlessly to your created designs.
You’re in your element when determining UX for web, tablet, and mobile, and work quickly and confidently in the common design tools.
You cast a critical eye on your work and can justify design choices using measurable data.
You work proactively and take initiative with suggestions of how we can make our product even better.
You have experience using quantitative data as a basis of design (e.g., Google Analytics, A/B testing).
You have knowledge of data-driven design and analytics.
You have experience organizing and leading user tests, design sprints, and workshops.
You are a team player and strong communicator in Dutch as well as in English.
You are familiar with Agile and Scrum.

The interactive whiteboard is an incredibly valuable tool in the classroom. Many teachers, however, find them difficult and time-consuming to use. That's why we, in close cooperation with teachers, developed Gynzy. A web-based program that allows teachers to get the most out of their interactive whiteboards. But we did not stop there - we have made it our mission to give teachers time to teach again. Gynzy is headquartered in The Netherlands and has an US office in New York City. The total Gynzy team consists of 75 highly motivated and entrepreneurial employees.
